NGUYÊN NHÂN:
Do virus thuộc họ Birnaviridae, serotype 1 gây ra trên hầu hết các dòng gà, thường gặp trên gà Leghorn. Gà đẻ thường nhạy cảm hơn gà thịt, gà địa phương ít bị bệnh hoặc bệnh không nặng như gà công nghiệp TRIỆU CHỨNG:

- Bệnh xuất hiện một cách thình lình và mãnh liệt với triệu chứng đầu tiên là gà suy nhược, lờ đờ, gà mổ vào hậu môn của nhau, những lông xung quanh hậu môn bị nhiễm bẩn với những phân lỏng màu trắng đục có khi lẫn máu, gà suy sụp, liệt cùng với mất nước, xù lông.
- Bệnh số cao có thể 50 đến 100%, gà chết vào ngày thứ 3 sau khi cảm nhiễm, tử số trung bình 5-20%

- Xuất huyết trên cơ ngực, cơ đùi, lông xơ xác, chân khô.
- Thận bị hư hại dưới nhiều dạng khác nhau.
- Lách lúc bắt đầu bệnh thì triển dưỡng, sau đó thì bất dưỡng.
- Ở ngày thứ ba sau khi nhiễm, túi Fabricius bị thủy thủng, xung huyết, gia tăng kích thước và trọng lượng. Ơ ngày thứ tư, bệnh tích tăng lên, túi Fabricius tăng gấp 2-3 lần thể tích bình thường. Ơ ngày thứ năm, những bệnh tích viêm giảm dần, túi Fabricius giảm kích thước rồi bắt đầu bất dưỡng. Từ ngày thứ tám, trọng lượng túi Fabricius giảm từ 1/3-1/6 trọng lượng túi Fabricius bình thường

- Thường xuyên bổ sung ANTI-GUMBO: 2g/1 lít nước uống để tăng sức kháng bệnh.
- Bệnh do virus không có thuốc đặc trị. Khi bệnh đã nổ ra cần thực hiện các biện pháp sau đây để hạn chế tỉ lệ chết:
+ Cách ly gia cầm bệnh và gia cầm khỏe mạnh.
+ Vệ sinh chuồng trại, dụng cụ chăn nuôI bằng PIVIDINE hoặc ANTIVIRUS-FMB
+Bổ sung ANTI-GUMBO: 2g/1 lít nước uống giúp tăng cường sức đề kháng, phòng ngừa stress, mất nước, mất chất điện giải(theo SAIGONVET)
